As a child, I loved words and pink rompers. Thankfully, I’ve ditched the rompers, but my obsession with language is still going strong.

I’ve written in newsrooms and television writers’ rooms, penned everything from press releases to book reviews, profiles to marketing copy.

I’m Chicago born, bred and based, but having spent my college years in New York studying creative writing at Columbia, I still occasionally pine for the East Coast.

Gripping ledes, snappy dialogue, statement plants and warm people are a few of my favorite things. And, of course, well-told stories. Unlike rompers, those never go out of style.
